Mobile learning is any sort of learning that happens when the learner is not at a fixed, predetermined location or learning that happens when the learner takes advantage of the learning opportunities offered by mobile technologies.
These technologies make a user mobile examples are Mobile phones, notebooks, laptops, PDAs etc. Limitations of learning as in everywhere are overcome by using m-learning as it provides mobility through the use of portable mobile devices.

Post Winston Secondary School Outreach
After liaison with Ministry of Education, 13 secondary schools were identified as severely affected by cyclone Winston and in dire need of assistance. FSTE partnered with Asco Motors and Campus life and planned 2 trips to visit these schools to conduct mobile labs and study clinics in Math’s, computing, physics, chemistry and biology for forms 6 and 7 students. The aim of this trip was to facilitate crucial labs and study clinics to help schools catch up with the syllabus coverage. The team facilitated experiments in a wide range of topics including cell biology, photosynthesis, pendulum motion, and conservation laws, and one activity involved locating the epicentre of an earthquake using seismic data. click here for more
